5. Rushing Franklin Street after beating Duke my freshman year- We jumped fires, we screamed "Tar, HEEL!" until our voices croaked, we hugged strangers, we united in a love for our school and a hatred for the enemy.

4. Drinking a He’s Not blue cup on a 75 degree afternoon in March- I was sitting at one of the picnic tables outside, in shorts and a t-shirt in ~March~, sipping on a Blue Moon, chatting with friends in anticipation for the Final Four game- life couldn’t have been better than that moment.

3. Linda’s fingers and fries- There is nothing like sharing a booth at Linda’s at 2 in the morning with friends, waiting for the hot plate of chicken fingers and cheesy fries. One night, someone started singing the alma mater impromptu, and we all wrapped arms around each other’s shoulders, singing and swaying with chicken fingers and a beer in our hands.

2. The quad- I will never forget the time I stayed up literally all night studying for an exam, took the exam at 8 am, and walked out brain dead. But, I was greeted by a group of friends sitting in a circle on the quad, on a beautiful Carolina blue skies day, who immediately reminded me of why I’m a Tar Heel.

1. In case you didn’t know, we just won the NCAA National Championship. NOTHING will beat the feeling of doing a toe-touch when Joel Berry made the final shot, sprinting out of Carolina Ale House onto Franklin Street, crying my eyes out, and waking up the next day a champion.
